We have some experience with most major platforms, from Windows and Linux to mainframe systems. The platform is of less importance with Java, but it is still a factor, in particular for integration with existing systems.

We are multi-lingual, but prefer Java or C++. On the database side we have worked mostly with Oracle, DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server. WebSphere and jBoss are our primary application servers.

It is very difficult (if not impossible) to write good software unless you know the problem domain. CodeMint has extensive experience with financial solutions, ranging from in-house banking and Internet stock trading to planning and liquidity forecasting. We have also worked with telecom and know IP networking from the ground up. For example, we have developed a special purpose IP-stack on top of our own custom PPP implementation.
